German Traditions!
German customs and traditions  include Nikolaustag (Saint Nicholas' Day) on December 6 when a shoe is traditionally left outside the door on the eve December 5 and children hope that the following morning they will find small gifts if they had been good - or a rod if they had been bad!

Mexican Traditions!
Mexican custom and traditions include the Las Posadas festival which begins December 16 and ends December 24. Epiphany (6 January) marks the end of the festivities in Mexico.

Italian Traditions!
Italian custom and traditions include a character called Befana. It is not just Santa Claus (Babbo Natale) who brings the gifts to Italian children but also the kind witch who is called La Befana.

English Traditions!
English custom and traditions include festive food such as a roast dinner (usually roast turkey or chicken) with a great variety of vegetables including Brussels sprouts, carrots, cauliflower cheese, parsnips and roast potatoes!

Panama Traditions!
Customs and traditions in Panama include Xmas Parades which include floats that are brightly decorated and the women wear dresses called polleras whilst the men wear monunos.

Australian Traditions!
Australian custom and tradition include December 26, Boxing Day which is a public holiday when many Australians take the opportunity to clean up after the festive activities or enjoy sporting events, as in the UK. The most famous Sporting events on Boxing Day include the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and the Boxing Day Test cricket test match.
