A Free Christmas Game - Objective of Survival The objective of the Team game Survival is to establish whether they would have a good chance of survival after being shipwrecked. This game can be played with one team or several teams. It's a brilliant way to get to know other party guests - and its good fun! A judge will ask the players questions about their reasons for choosing objects and assess their chance of survival!
Preparation of the Survival Before the guests arrive at the Christmas party the following Information and Activity sheet should be printed off:
How to Play Survival The instructions on how to play Survival are as follows:
Players are divided into teams of at least 5 players
They are told the following story:
You have been shipwrecked on a deserted Island! The island has fresh water and lot’s of wildlife including an assortment of spiders, snakes, wild pigs, birds, fish, tigers and cannibals! There are palm trees, caves and even a smoking volcano. The island covers about 30 square miles and apparently a WW2 bomber crashed there during the war…
Your Team must select 5 items to help you to survive, which are detailed on the Survival Information Sheet
You must also designate roles for each of your Team members - a member of the Team can have more than one role
You have 30 minutes to make your decisions and to be ready to explain the reasons for making your decisions and how these will help you to have the best chance of survival!
After 30 minutes the Team returns to convince the 'judge' why their decisions will give them the best chance of survival! The 'judge' will then decide whether they have:
No Chance of Surviving! 50/50 Chance of Surviving! A good Chance of Surviving!
Number of Players needed for Survival The number of players required to play Survival is a minimum of 5. This Christmas game is suitable for older kids or adults.
